S T E A K

This is a regular meal for him.. But for me, it's a treat cuz nobody here knows how to grill a steak.

To preserve the normal taste of meat.. Nothing else was used to season it except for the usual S&P. ;-)

Spicy Chicken Wings


My boyfriend and I did this recipe twice already. And the second time was twice as good I must say...why?...cuz I unintentionally made it spicier!!

Chicken Piccata with Garlic Spaghetti




I got my recipe from Foodwishes.com courtesy of Chef John. It tastes okay but I like Old Spaghetti House's recipe better.

Dory with Garlic, Basil and Tomato Sauce


This is how it looks like. I don't remember how I did it but give me the ingredients and I might remeber.

Ingredients:

1/2 Cream Dory
All purpose flour
Egg
Garlic Salt
Garlic
Basil Leaves dried/fresh
Tomatoes fresh/sun dried
Tomato Sauce
Tomato Paste

My Mom's Bistek




This is my mom's recipe. I don't normally cook my bistek this way, but I did it for Rol because apparently he says my mom's recipe tastes better. Ok. Ok. Here's the recipe now:

No measurement here. Mom never uses any measurement.

Brown sugar
Beef (tenderized)
Water
Lemon juice/calamansi
Onions
Soy Sauce
Corn Starch (optional)

Boil 1/4beef into the pan with water and a lil salt and pepper
Let it boil soft/ pressure cooker
When the water reduced a lil bit, add soy sauce
Let it simmer
add 4 calamansi juice
Simmer again.
add sugar, 2 tbsp
and add soy sauce again depending on the taste
remove sauce and let the meat stay on the pan
fry with oil until meat is brown
fry onions on the side /separate
let the meat cook til brown
put back the sauce
add cornstarch
that's it!! pans-it!!
