Turkey siomai
I think this is a better alternative to pork siomai. i just tried it today and it was good. Here's my recipe. This is just my estimated measurement...
1 pack ground turkey
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp flour
2 medium size carrots (minced)
5 tbsp minced onions
1 cup canned mushroom (minced)
3 tbsp sesame oil
1 pc egg
1/4 cup mince scallions
1 pack wonton/ siomai wrapper
Since i dont own a food processor and chopping is a b! Tch, i used osterizer to chop/mince some ingredients. I had to add water though bec it wont chop evenly. I used the low setting and was very careful not to puree my veggies. I poured the chopped veggies in a strainer and squeezed the liquid out. This works very similar to a food processor except that some of the veggies juices are squeezed out as well.
Steam for 20 mins and let cool by removing the steamer from the pot. Make sure a wet paper towel should be covering the steamer when done so as not to dry out the siomai wrapper.
